LE FESTIVAUX LAS FALLAS - TOUR D’UN JOUR – 18 MARS 2013

On March 18th, we will go to Valencia – very early departure in order to enjoy a full day admiring the many painted statues throughout the city, and at 2 pm, the « mascletá », an amazing fireworks display in the centre of town.

The statues are set up on the night of March 15th, and will be burnt down on the « Night of Fire », March 19th, Saint Joseph’s Day. The fiesta atmosphere is contagious and unique. JUMILLA Wine Tour

Jumilla Wine Tour

On April 18th 2013, Dragontours is planning a trip to the wineries in Jumilla. After our early – 9 am – departure, we cross the province of Murcia into the north west, and arrive in Jumilla. The vinyards are becoming green and lush, and we will visit two different wineries with different outlooks. Going back to the city of Jumilla, and if there is time, we can have a look at the Archaeological Museum or take a stroll through the streets of this lovely town. We will also fit in a visit to a very interesting ecological farm, where among other activities, excellent olive oil is made.

Then there will be free time for lunch (not included) for everybody at one of the many bars or restaurants in town.

After lunch, and on our way back, we will have a visit to, providing the weather is fine, the Franciscan monastery overlooking the city. Our return to Mazarrón will be at approximately 6:30 – 7 pm. Price is just 32€ per person.

THE WINE HORSE FESTIVAL OF CARAVACA

Just as on every year, this year we will go to Caravaca de la Cruz, to enjoy their annual Wine Horse festival. Not only is Caravaca a holy city, where according to legend a piece of the « True Cross » is guarded in the Church, the city also has one of the most popular and beautiful festivals. Horses are dressed in embroidered finery, paraded through the town, and finally, compete against one another in a race to the castle.

A day full of imagination and emotions. Only 19€ per person.

Our super shopping day on Thursday, January 10th, will take us from the Port of Mazarrón – Bolnuevo – Camposol and other pick-up points, to the three major shopping centres in Murcia. We will depart this area at 9:30h in the morning, and our first stop will be Ikea and the Thader Commercial Centre. At 2 pm, we move on to the New Condominium Centre. There are miles of shops, including many favourites, like Primark, H&M, C&A, Zara and Zara Homes, Springfield, Leroy Merlin…. the list goes on. So sign up with Dragontours! And spend a great day shopping. We leave the centres at 5:30pm, so literally, a full, fun day.

C.BLANCA – CIUDAD ENCANTADA – CUENCA

Départ tôt le matin, depuis les différents points de sortie vers Cuenca, en traversant par les plaines de la Mancha. Arivée à Cuenca et continuation au le parc natural de la “Ciudad Encantada” en passant par le célèbre “Mirador del Diablo” avèc sa vue impressionnante. Arrivée au parc géologique où l’erosión a fair des rochers de véritables sculptures. Arrivée à l´hôtel, dîner et logement.

Jour2

CUENCA – CHINCHÓN – TOLEDO (LAYOS)

Petir déjeuner et temps libre pour visiter l´ancien quartier de la ville, située dans la zone haute et declarée Patrimoide de l´Humanité, avec ses petites rues étroites, des places cachées, des tunnels creusés dans la rocher, le point de vue panoramique, le tout nous rappelont le passé arabe et judaïque; Aussi nous pourrons admirer sa Cathédrale de style gothique et ses fameuses “Casas Colgadas”. Continuation à Toledo en visitant sur la route Chinchón, avec sa “Plaza Mayor” de style castillan, l´une de mieux conservées de l´Espagne. Temps libre, continuation à Layos (à 15 Km de Toledo). Arrivée à l´hôtel dîner et logement.

Jour3

LAYOS – AVILA – SALAMANCA

Petit déjeuner et depart en direction de Toledo. Arrivée et temps libre pour visiter la ville historique aux bords du Tajo, avec sa Cathédrale, l´Eglise de Santo Tomé, avec l´oeuvre d´art de El Greco, la Synagogue etc. L´après-midi sortie vers Avila. Arrivée et visite de la ville complètement emmurraillée. Nous continuons vers Salamanca. Dîner et logement.

Jour4

SALAMANCA – SEGOVIA – MADRID

Petit déjeuner et visite de Salamanca (guide officiel inclus) avec sa “Plaza Mayor” une des plus belles d´Espagne, la nouvelle et la vieille cathédrale, la “casa de las Conchas”, le quartier universitaire avec la façade monumentale et son musée. Temps libre. L’après-midi, départ vers Segovia. Arrivée et visite de la ville avec l´impressionnant Aqueduc romain, la Cathédrale et l’Alcazar. Nous continuons vers Madrid. Arrivée, Dîner et logement.

Jour5

MADRID – ARANJUEZ – COSTA BLANCA

Petit déjeuner et départ vers Aranjuez. Arrivée temps libre pour visiter ses jardins romantiques et le Palais Royal. Retour vers la C. Blanca et fin de nos services.
