DAY 1 COSTA BLANCA – TOLEDO – MADRID. Early morning departure towards Toledo, arrival and free time to visit the historical city on the banks of the river Tajo where arabic, Jewish and Cristian cultures converge. Visit the old quarter with its Cathedral. Afternoon departure to Madrid. Arrival at the Hotel. Dinner and accommodation. DAY 2 MADRID. Breakfast and visit to the capital, official guide included, with the districts of the Austrias and Bourbones, Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, Fuente de la Cibeles, Paseo de la Castellana and Puerta de Alcalá with its museums and the Parque del Retiro. Free time to visit the Prado Museum (entrance not included), one of the most important art museums in the world, where we can admire the works of Goya, Velázquez, El Greco, etc., and the Royal Palace with works of Goya, Lucas Jordan and Mengs, Salón de Gasparini, Salon del Trono- and porcelain rooms. Free time in Madrid for shopping or more detailed visit of the city. Dinner and accommodation. DAY 3 MADRID – ESCORIAL – VALLE DE LOS CAÍDOS. Breakfast and excursion to “San Lorenzo del Escorial”, to visit the impressive monument of Felipe II, containing a Monastery, Palace, Pantheon, Basilica and Library. Visit to the Valley of the Fallen, commemorative monument for the Fallen during the Spanish Civil War, with its Basilica carved into the rock and the monumental Cross. Return to Madrid, dinner and accommodation. DAY 4 MADRID – ARANJUEZ – COSTA BLANCA Breakfast and departure to Aranjuez.Arrival and free time to visit the romantic Gardens and Royal palace. Return to the Costa Blanca. Arrival and end of our services.
